Upgrading the memory in any of the Acer Aspire One mini laptops is not an easy task. It requires a full dissemblance of the Aspire One and voids the warranty. In the end you can only upgrade the memory to 1.5Gb. You will need:

- small Phillips head screwdriver
- credit card to snap the tabs
- parts tray to hold all of the screws you will be removing
- anti-static mat to work on
-512MB or 1GB stick of RAM. soDIMM PC2-5300 RAM.
